Growth team services: pick the roles you need covered

Start with the job that's costing you the most enquiries today. Most Ontario clients begin with an audit or two or three active roles, then add coverage once the scorecard shows where the next gain is.

Written by Ali Sedighi, MBALast updated:

The quickest way to choose is to ask one question: which growth job in your company has no owner right now? Whatever the answer, that's the first role to switch on. Everything below is a role or a bundle of roles; none of it requires you to hire, train or manage anyone.

Embedded growth team (monthly)

This is the core service and the reason the brand exists. You get a growth lead (Ali Sedighi) plus the production roles your plan needs, running on a weekly rhythm with one scorecard.

Choose it if you already have a working business with steady demand, you know growth is being left on the table, and you've tried the "hire one marketer" route or the "sign up with a channel agency" route without lasting results. It suits owners who want a regular meeting, a written plan and a single point of contact. Details on the embedded growth team page.

Growth audit and 90-day team plan

A fixed-scope project. We look at your enquiries, revenue by source, the state of every account you own (or think you own), your website and your follow-up, then hand you a 90-day plan with roles, weeks and costs.

Choose it if you're not ready to commit to a monthly team, or you want a second opinion on what your current agency is doing. The plan is yours whether or not you hire us to run it. See the growth audit page.

Search, ads and content execution

The recurring demand work: Google Business Profile upkeep, local service pages for the Ontario towns you actually serve, paid search with tight budgets and honest reporting, and content that answers real buyer questions.

Choose it if your enquiry volume is the bottleneck and your website and phones are in reasonable shape. If your website leaks or nobody answers the phone, fix those first, because extra traffic only magnifies the leak. More on the search, ads and content page.

Website and conversion work

Page-by-page fixes to the places where visitors drop off: unclear headlines, buried phone numbers, slow mobile pages, quote pages that ask for too much. The method comes from Conv.ca, the conversion-rate optimisation agency Ali founded.

Choose it if you already get traffic but too few calls, texts or emails come from it. A small change to the right page often beats a large increase in ad spend. Details on the website and conversion page.

Lead handling and follow-up systems

The unglamorous role that often pays back first. We map what happens to every call, text and email after it arrives, set response-time targets, build simple follow-up rules, and keep the consent records Canadian anti-spam law expects.

Choose it if you suspect enquiries are slipping between staff, voicemail and inboxes, or if quotes go out and nobody chases them. See the lead follow-up page.

How the services fit together

The order matters more than the menu. We usually work in this sequence:

  1. Measure what's happening now (audit, tracking, lead log).
  2. Stop the leaks (follow-up rules, website fixes).
  3. Add demand (search, ads, content) once the first two hold.
  4. Run it weekly under the embedded team so it doesn't decay.

Skipping step 1 is the most common and most expensive mistake we see. Owners buy more traffic, the phone rings a bit more, nobody can say which spend produced which job, and six months later the budget is cut on a hunch.

Signs you need a role switched on

If you're still unsure, these symptoms point to a specific role:

  • "We get calls, but I can't say from where." Analytics and follow-up role, usually via the audit.
  • "Our Google listing shows the wrong hours." Search and local visibility.
  • "The agency sends reports I don't understand." Growth lead; the audit will tell you whether the spend is working.
  • "Traffic went up, enquiries didn't." Website and conversion.
  • "We send quotes and hear nothing back." Lead follow-up.

Prices for each option are on the pricing page. If you're unsure where to start, the FAQ answers the questions owners ask most often before a first call.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to buy all five services?

No. The services are roles you switch on and off. A typical start is the growth audit, then an embedded team with two or three roles active.

Which service should I start with?

If you don't know where your enquiries come from today, start with the growth audit. If you know exactly what's broken, start with the role that fixes it.

Can I keep my current agency for one channel?

Yes. We can work alongside an existing ads or web vendor. The growth lead role then sets priorities and reports on the combined result.

Are these services only for trades or HVAC firms?

No. We work with Ontario service businesses, professional firms, clinics, B2B suppliers and multi-location operators. Every result we publish comes from our HVAC work, and each one is labelled that way.
